Personal & Account Data: Name, work email address, phone number, and company affiliation.
Location Data: Precise and approximate location data when using location-based job dispatch, navigation, or check-in features.
Media & Photos: Photos uploaded for site inspections, job completions, and defect reporting.
Documents & Signatures: Digital signatures captured for Risk Assessments (RA), Method Statements (MS), and Toolbox Talks (TBT).

2. How We Use Your Information

Information collected is strictly used for contract execution, workplace health and safety compliance, and system delivery:

To dispatch work orders and assign field engineers to physical job sites.
To log mandatory UK Health & Safety (CDM 2015 / HSE) compliance records and digital signatures.
To send real-time push notifications regarding urgent safety alerts and job assignments.
To enable offline data synchronization for field operations.

3. Data Security & Storage

All data transmitted between the BuildOS Mobile App and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS protocols. Access to workforce records is strictly compartmentalized based on company organization scope.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third-party advertisers. Data is shared exclusively with cloud database infrastructure providers (Supabase / AWS) solely to support app services.

5. Your Rights & Data Retention

Financial and safety compliance records are retained in accordance with statutory audit requirements (e.g. 7 years for tax and UK CDM compliance records). Users may request data review or account updates by contacting their company administrator.
